My Journey in Product Development

The next step was coming up a product design that would keep food fresh, be easy to use, and be environmentally friendly. This was the first rendering that I ever did of the vacuum sealing product. I presented this to my class freshman year of high school.

I then researched the competition in a comprehensive way. I needed to compare the features of what was already available. I identified the five most important features that I believed the product needed: Electric, Integrated Pump System, Dishwasher Safe, Automatic Vacuum Seal and Action to Seal Container.

After figuring out that nothing on the market fit the needs that I identified, I started trying to make my own prototype.
